TeleWest Communications Plc, the UK cable television operator jointly owned by Tele-Communications Inc and US West Inc, has now filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to offer about 25% of its ordinary shares, all new, some in the form of American Depositary Shares, each of the latter representing 10 ordinary shares. No target price was given. Lead underwriters for the US offering, expected to be completed by late June, are Goldman Sachs and Kleinwort Benson Ltd. Goldman Sachs International and Kleinwort Benson Securities are the global co-ordinators for the share offering.
