BTG Inc, Vienna, Virginia systems integrator and computer services company has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to offer 1.75m shares, 1.67m of them new, to raise an indicated $28m or so net; the company did not give plans for the cash. The managing underwriters for the offering will be Prudential Securities Inc, Janney Montgomery Scott Inc, and Ferris, Baker Watts Inc.
Periphonics Corp has filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission for a block sale of 1.1m shares, all of them coming from existing shareholders. The Bohemia, New York-based firm puts together automated interactive transaction processing systems for communicating with databases using a touch-tone telephone, speech input and output, Web browsers and facsimile output. The offering is being managed by William Blair & Co LLC and Dain Bosworth Inc.
