Computer Learning Centers Inc, Fairfax, Virginia-based provider of information technology and computer-related education and training, has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to go public with an initial offer of 2.0m new shares at a target price of between $9 and $11 a share. The company says it looks for net proceeds of at least $17.3m will be used to repay debt and for working capital. The lead underwriters for the issue are Robertson, Stephens & Co and Piper Jaffray Inc,
Periphonics Corp, Bohemia, New York maker of voice response systems got its initial public offering of 2.75m shares, 2.15m of them new, away at $14 a share, right at the top of the $12 to $14 target range. Its plans for the $28m or so net proceeds were not available. William Blair & Co and Dain Bosworth Inc were the co-managers of the offering.
Videotron Holdings Plc of London got its US offer of 8.05m shares away at $17.50 apiece, the bottom end of Groupe Videotron Ltee’s target range of $17.50 to $18.50, reduced from an original $18.50 to $20.50 target. The underwriters were not named.
