ComputerVision Corp, Bedford, Massachusetts has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to offer 12m new shares and wants the proceeds to redeem its $125m of 10.875% senior notes due 1997 and for working capital. Hambrecht & Quist LLC, Cowen & Co and BT Securities Corp are underwriters.

IDX Systems Corp, provider of health care billing and information software and systems, location not known, has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to go public with an initial offer of 4m shares, all new, at a target price of $15 to $17 a share, saying it wants the $60m or so net proceeds for shareholder distribution, working capital and potential acquisitions. The underwriters will be Alex Brown & Sons and Volpe, Welty & Co.

Platinum Technology Inc is still not satiated, even after some dozen acquisitions, and the Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois software tools specialist has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to offer 8.182m shares, 8m new, to raise cash for working capital and possible future acquisitions.The underwriters for the offering were not named.
