Geoworks Inc, the Alameda, California developer of the Geos object-oriented operating environment for hand-held computers, has filed to go public with an initial offer of 2.5m shares, all new. No target price was available. The underwriting will be managed by Hambrecht & Quist Inc and Paine Webber Inc.
