Ciber Inc, Englewood, Colorado provider of information technology consulting services, which embrace application software staff supplements and engineering services, filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to offer up to 2 million shares, 700,000 of them new, and the company wants the proceeds to fund expansion – including potential acquisitions – and for working capital. The offering will be made through Merrill Lynch & Co, Hanifen, Immhoff Inc and J P Morgan Securities Inc.
ECsoft Group Plc, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire IBM Corp mainframe and mid-range software and systems house, got its initial public offering of 3 million American Depositary Shares, 2.1 million of them new and each representing one ordinary share, away at $10 a time, the bottom of its target price range of $10 to $12 a share. It wants the $20m or so net proceeds from the flotation to buy out some of its eponymous continental siblings. The lead underwriter for the issue was Robertson, Stephens & Co.
