Software Artistry Inc, Indianapolis developer of customer support software products, notably the Expert Advisor problem management system, has filed to go public with an initial offer of 1.825m shares, 1.35m of them new, at a target price of $10 to $12 a share. No word on plans for the $14m or so net proceeds. The underwiters for the issue are led by Robertson, Stephens & Co and Cowen & Co.

TGV Software Inc has filed for an initial public offering of 2m shares, approximately 1.4m of them new. The Santa Cruz, California inter-networking software developer has a target price between $14 and $16 per share, raising around $27m to $31m net. The company will have approximately 5.3m shares remaining after the offering. Smith Barney and Wessels, Arnold & Henderson will co-manage.
