Intrasoft SA, the leading Greek software development and systems integration company, is going public today with an offer 25% of the enlarged equity to raise $36.4m to finance its growth and plans for expansion into new markets, Reuter reports from Athens. Socrates Kokkalis, who is the major shareholder of Greece’s leading telecommunications equipment manufacturer Intracom SA, has a 50.9% stake in Intrasoft, which in turn has equity holdings in database distributor Databank SA, Intrarom SA and Softcom SA. Intrasoft has patents on a number of business applications and launched an on-line legal database. It is offering 1.095m ordinary shares and 438,000 preference shares and the National Bank of Greece is the lead underwriter.
