Underwriters are Robinson-Humphrey Co Inc and Raymond James & Associates Inc.
Mercury Interactive Corp, Sunnyvale, California automated software quality software products, got its offer of 2.72m shares, 2m new, away at $23.75 per share. Net proceeds of some $45m will be used for working capital and possible acquisitions of or investments in complementary b usinesses, products or technologies. Hambrecht & Quist LLC was lead manager of the underwriting group with Oppenheimer & Co Inc. and Furman Selz Inc serving as co-managers.
Hummingbird Communications Ltd, Markham, Ontario personal computer X Window software specialist, got its US offer of 2.175m shares away at $33.50 a share, reported underwriter Montgomery Securities.
