Data Dimensions Inc, a Bellevue, Washington company that does not seem to have too bright a long-term future since its whole business is now millennium consulting – advising people on the year 2000 software problem, sold 1.2m shares, 1.15m new, at $14 a share. Cruttendon & Co is lead underwriter.

ModaCAD Inc, Los Angeles developer of virtual reality, rendering and modeling software for industrial design and retail customers in the clothing, textile, home furnishings and home design industries, has sold 1.4m units, each of one share plus a warrant to buy a second share, at $5.01 per unit. The underwriter was W B McKee Securities Inc.
