Citrix Systems Inc, the Coral Springs, Florida company famous for its multi-user versions of Windows and MS-DOS, has filed to go public with an initial offer of 2.0m shares, all new, at a target price of $9 to $11 a share, and says it wants the $16m or so net proceeds for working capital. Hambrecht & Quist LLC and Robertson, Stephens & Co underwrite.
Software 2000 Inc, Hyannis, Massachusetts financial, personnel and materials management software specialist has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to go public with an initial offer of 2.3m shares, 1.33m new at a target price of $11 to $13 a share. No word on plans for the cash. Needham & Co Inc, The Robinson-Humphrey Co Inc and SoundView Financial Group Inc underwrite.
US West Inc’s US West Capital Funding has issued $250m of notes due November 1 2005 at par to yield 6.31%, via lead manager Merrill Lynch & Co Inc.
