MFS Communications Co, Omaha, Nebraska said it filed a universal shelf registration statement with the Securities & Exchange Commission for the sale of debt or equity securities totalling $1,000m.

PeopleSoft Inc, Pleasanton, California personnel software specialist, raised $21.8m in a private placing of warrants to buy a total 1.0m new shares. The proceeds from the sale will be used to supplement current cash and investment balances that are used to fund the company’s capital expenditures.

PT Telkom, Indonesia’s Java-based national phone company, priced its shares at $18 per American Depository Share; the total offer size was set at $1,590m, representing 19% of the equity, with the international offer amounting to $540m and the domestic offer being $1,050m. The company had been looking for $19.50 and $24.50 per Depositary Share.
