Meta Group Inc, Stamford, Connecticut computer market assessor, has now filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission for its proposed initial public offering of 2.4m shares, 1.5m new, and has set a target price of $12 to $14 per share. The $17m or so net proceeds will be used for working capital and product development. Underwriters will be Robertson, Stephens & Co LP, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp and First Albany Corp.

SanDisk Corp, Santa Clara Flash memory PC Card maker, got its initial public offering of 3.1m shares away at $10 a share against the target $7.5 to $9.5. Morgan Stanley & Co was lead underwriter.
