US Robotics Corp, Skokie, Illinois modem-maker has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to offer 2.5m shares, 1.5m of them new, but does not say what the cash is for. Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp, Hambrecht & Quist LLC, Southcoast Capital Corp and Oppenheimer & Co Inc are the managing underwriters of the offering.
BTG Plc, the former state-owned British Technology Group, is planning a London Stock Exchange flotation in late June via an institutional placing, valuing the group at up to ú40m. The technology transfer specialist intends to raise ú12m to ú15m of new money through the flotation, which is being handled for the company by Kleinwort Benson Ltd.
