AST Research Inc yesterday filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission to offer 2m new shares to raise some $45m for working capital and research and development; the Irvine, California micromaker has retained First Boston Corp and Bear, Stearns & Co Inc to be co-managers of the share offering.
