SHAMROCK HOLDINGS ACQUIRES CONTROLLING INTEREST IN DBMS

Shamrock Holdings Inc, a Burbank, California company wholly owned by the Roy – brother of Walt – Disney family that has four television and 12 radio stations; majority ownership of Central Soya Co; 23.5% of Enterra Corp; ranching and other properties; and a diverse investment portfolio, has spread its net further with acquisition of a controlling interest in DBMS Inc, a privately held software systems and services company with sales of $22m in 1986, on undisclosed terms: DBMS was founded in 1979, is based in Naperville, Illinois and provides systems, consulting and support services to financial institutions, manufacturers, wholesale and retail distributors, government, the military and public utilities
