IBM Corp says it has licensed Portland, Oregon-based Sequent Computer Systems Inc with the messaging middleware that runs its range of MQSeries products. Under the deal Sequent will develop and market a new MQSeries product running on Sequents DYNIX/ptx operating system, designed to enable users to access existing MQSeries applications.
