SEIKO TO CREATE LOW-POWER ASICS USING HITACHI SH-3

Seiko Epson is going to combine its low-power semiconductor technology with Hitachi Ltd’s 32-bit SH-3 RISC to create ASICs for portables, multimedia devices such as car navigation systems and digital cameras. Seiko is the first Japanese SH-3 licensee.
