Seiko Epson Co is so concerned at the effect that the proposed EEC anti-dumping levy on Japanese matrix printers that it took six full page advertisements in yesterday’s Financial Times, each dominated by a portrait, starting out as a Japanese girl and metamorphosing page to page into Mrs Thatcher, in an effort to drum up local opposition to the levy – and Mrs Thatcher? The message is that Britain will be the one to be hurt by the levy inward investment, jobs…
