Seeq Technology Inc, San Jose warns that turnover and profits for the quarter to December 25 will be below those reported for the previous quarter – and below analysts’ estimates: the company did $2.3m net on sales of $15.6m for the period to September 25, and blames the decline on poor wafer fabrication productivity and misprocessing of product critical to the last quarter figures; the company provides a little cheer by saying that orders for the quarter were at a three-year high, with much of the order strength in the newer CMOS lines.
