A seed investment fund has announced that it will run a hackathon at its Tech City base next month.

Developers are invited to apply for Seedcamp’s fourth ‘Seedhack’ event as it seeks to find ways to improve the remixing of content online.

Organisers wrote on the Seedcamp blog: "With an increasing amount of music uploaded, photos shared, videos watched and checkins made, problems and constraints are often found when remixing content. We are seeking to tackle this problem!"

Hackers will be helped along over the weekend-long hackathon with readily-available APIs, mentors and talks and people are encouraged to apply whether they have an idea or not, with the event geared towards connecting developers, creatives, marketers and designers.

At the end of the November 8-10 weekend, hackers will be able to present their solutions on stage and will get feedback from the event’s judges, who are still to be confirmed.
