The merger will allow the larger SecureWorks business to flesh out the managed services it is able to offer, which will now operate across three integrated SOCs. No financial details of the deal were disclosed.

SecureWorks has provided security information and event management services to the enterprise since 1996 based on data collated and correlated from security device logs.

It will also offer hosted network intrusion prevention, firewall management, and vulnerability assessment services, and provide managed encrypted email and filtering services.

The company will be headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
