SEC FILES CHARGES UNLUCKY 13 WITH NET SECURITIES FRAUD

The Securities and Exchange Commission has announced the filing of charges in four cases against 13 individuals accused of using the internet to commit securities fraud. The individuals allegedly touted more than fifty small companies, making false claims or failing to reveal the compensation that they received from these firms. In return for these services, they secured over $450, 000 in cash and $2.7m in stocks and options.
