Seapine Software, a provider of quality-centric application lifecycle management offerings, has unveiled QA Wizard Pro 2010.2, which includes web application load testing that enables QA teams to ensure that applications can meet performance and scalability requirements.
The new QA Wizard Pro provides test automation features for testing teams, which enables them to accelerate functional and regression testing in support of Agile development practices.
The company said that the new offering is able to combine automated user actions with multiple simulated users to provide the ability to identify issues that occur during normal application use.
The QA Wizard Pro load testing leverages the existing scripting language and includes a new set of statements and functions needed to configure and control application load simulations, allowing existing users to conduct load tests, without the learning curve of an additional load testing tool.
Seapine Software president and CEO Rick Riccetti said that the performance and scalability are among the more difficult characteristics to test in applications, yet are key to application quality.
"With the latest version of QA Wizard Pro, testers can now easily combine functional testing with load testing to ensure both types of requirements are met," Riccetti said.
