SEAGATE TECHNOLOGY HAS OEM CONTRACT FROM IBM

By CBR Staff Writer

Turns out that OEM contract from IBM to Seagate Technology is for one year, and could run out to $200m: it covers the Seagate 4053 53Mb unformatted drive as the second source to IBM’s 44Mb disk in the Personal System/2s, and the 4096 96Mb drive that will reportedly be used in a future PS/2 model.
