SEACHANGE SETS MAJOR NEW RELEASE OF ITS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TOOLS

York-based SeaChange Ltd will introduce version 4.4 of its software development tools in mid-month. The new offering supports Informix Online and Informix Standard Engine, and has a new text and bytes feature for storing and manipulating variable free-format text and binary data. New tools include SeaGUI, which enables users to choose between Motif and Windows Windows 3 graphical displays or character displays, and SeaWriter for report writing.
