SeaChange International has reported total revenue of $61.4m for the fourth quarter of 2011, compared to $53m of the same quarter theprevious year.
The company’s operating income was $8.9m for the fourth quarter of 2011, as compared to an operating income of $0.81m for the same period last year.
For the quarter ended 31 January 2011, SeaChange posted a net income of $10.9m, or $0.34 per share, compared to net income of $0.44m, for Q4 FY10.
The company’s revenue and net income for the FY11 increased to $217m and $29.5m, respectively, from $201.7m and $1.3m for the previous fiscal year.
SeaChange chairman and CEO Bill Styslinger said fiscal 2011 was a year of putting proof and progress to their software strategy with major multi-screen product releases and wins.
"We can point to our Virgin Media and StarHub launches, breakthroughs in pure-play mobile video such as Three in the UK, 3 Italia and Vodacom South Africa, and the advancement of home gateway, tablet and smartphone video," Styslinger said.
"With our introduction of Adrenalin, we believe we’ve created the global standard for video back office software."
