SD SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY AND DEC DEVELOP XD ADA

SD Scicon Plc’s SD Software Technology Ltd and DEC have developed XD Ada, the first of a new generation of high-performance Ada cross compilers: the compiler runs on any DEC VAX system under VMS 5.0 and is written to generate code for the Motorola MC68020 and Mil-STD-175OA chips; field testing of XD Ada is due for completion by early summer.
