The Scottish digital industry predicts strong growth for 2015, according to research from ScotlandIS.
83 percent of digital organisations plan to increase staff numbers, while 86 percent expect sales to rise in the coming year. This latter figure rose to 96 percent in medium-sized companies.
The research also revealed that 74 percent of organisations expect to recruit this year.
The news comes as 70 percent of businesses reported sales growth in 2014. 42 percent of organisations reported increased and 42 percent stable profit margins.

"For young people considering their career options our industry offers huge opportunities, from founding your own tech start-up to international marketing as Scottish technology businesses increasingly move into global markets."

The annual survey by the Scottish IT trade body polled 150 organisations.
