Shares in SCi Entertainment Group Plc, the London, UK-based computer games company, fell 6.5% to 117.5 pence yesterday after the company refused to confirm reports that it has secured a license deal with film maker, Paramount to produce a computer game based on the cult film, The Italian Job. After intense speculation in the shares, the board said it expects to make a further announcement in due course. SCi is best known for its game Carmageddon, where the goal is to run over as many pedestrians as possible, and the Paramount deal is reported to be timed to coincide for a release of a sequel to The Italian Job next year.
