Schoolwires deploys Dell Cloud Business Applications

Integrates salesforce.com’s Sales Cloud with Microsoft Dynamics

By CBR Staff Writer

Schoolwires, a provider of Web content management platform used by school districts, has chosen Dell Cloud Business Applications’ integrated CRM offering to connect salesforce.com’s Sales Cloud to current on-premise applications.

Schoolwires said it was a growing private company that serves the K-12 education community, supporting more than 1,300 customers and they need a cloud-based CRM offering to help improve efficiencies across the sales organisation and integrate salesforce.com’s Sales Cloud with Microsoft Dynamics.

Schoolwires said they chose Dell’s CRM offering because of its comprehensive, end-to-end Dell services and Dell Boomi integration.

Schoolwires Sales vice-president Doug Eicher said Dell’s integrated CRM offerings with salesforce.com’s Sales Cloud and Dell Boomi will allow Schoolwires to integrate its sales and Professional Services Organisations to better serve the needs of Schoolwires’ growing customer base.

"The integration also will give our account team members access to real-time data that will help them identify additional school districts that would benefit from our solutions. Being able to rely on Dell to deliver and support the entire solution from implementation to ongoing maintenance is a tremendous advantage," said Eicher.

Dell Global Small and Medium Business Solutions vice-president and general manager Paulette Altmaier said Dell is thrilled to help Schoolwires continue to grow their business and better support the critical needs of Dell’s K-12 education community.

"Their selection of our integrated CRM offer with turnkey end-to-end services validates the growing market need for total cloud solutions," said Altmaier.
