Schneider Rundfunkwere AG, the Turkheim, West Germany company that got into the computer business by taking the Amstrad Plc distributorship in the Federal Republic, now wants to muscle in on Amstrad’s home turf with the machines that it is building itself: it has appointed Greyhound Marketing Ltd of Leeds to be the US master distributor for its nine-model range of personal computers, which have a base price of UKP400 for a machine with CPU, 12 mono monitor and 3.5 floppy drive.
