Based in Tempe, Az., the Pinacor unit will be merged with ScanSource’s telephony sales unit, Catalyst Telecom, which is a leading distributor of voice, data and converged communications products from manufacturers such as Avaya, Intel/Dialogic, Polycom and many others.
The acquisition will be accounted for as a non-dilutive asset purchase. We look forward to gaining an experienced sales force and an established customer base to continue to grow sales of Avaya product in the voice and data marketplace, said Mike Baur, ScanSource’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
