Norwegian clustering start-up Scali AS expects a four-node cluster of 300MHz Pentium II LX quads with 128Mb RAM and 4.3Gb disk per node, plus Solaris x86 operating system licenses and interconnect hardware and software will run to around $75,000 (CI No 3,260). $125,000 for eight nodes, $220,000 for 16 nodes and $380,000 for a 32-node system.
