Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) in California, US has partnered with SAS to improve its budgeting, planning and forecasting for 28 school districts, four community college districts and four regional occupational programmes.
The county will deploy SAS Business Intelligence and SAS Financial Management to integrate and analyse financial, payroll, human resources, student and other data to understand operations and costs.
SAS Business Intelligence will help OCDE in integrating data from the districts and provide self-service reporting and analysis helping decision makers to devote more time on strategic decisions.
SAS Financial Management consolidates planning and historical information on demand, enabling OCDE to deliver the latest information to decision makers and regulatory agencies.
Business analytics software and services provider SAS delivers software applications, strategic services and academic programs to OCDE, expanding educational opportunities.
