German based business management software provider has released its Predictive Analysis software which claimed to help businesses gain insights from big data for prediction of business trends.
SAP said the new application can be used as a separate application or can be deployed with other SAP software, including the SAP HANA platform.
Data analysts can leverage SAP Predictive Analysis application to design predictive models to forecast demand or product sales.
The application is claimed to help in identifying key influencing factors for sales opportunities or purchasing behaviour; discovering trends; understanding business and data correlations; and spotting anomalies.
SAP said that the capabilities in Predictive Analysis will be valuable for data-intensive functions such as sales, marketing, risk, governance and security.
SAP Predictive Analysis claims to offer an easy-to-use environment for designing predictive models, acquire and manipulate data as well as visualise results with embedded SAP Visual Intelligence software.
