SAP AG will embed online business content from Dun & Bradstreet Software Corp into its R/3 enterprise software suite under an alliance between the two firms signed last week. D&B will provide information services for credit, purchasing and marketing information along with data rationalization software to reconcile inconsistent data from internal systems. D&B for SAP R/3 includes two components, for customer (accounts receivable) and supplier (accounts payable), and integrates R/3 master data and the D&B database at the application layer.
