SAP Jam will enable workers integrate social capabilities into their applications and daily business processes, eliminating social silos

By CBR Staff Writer

German enterprise software firm SAP has unveiled its social strategy to transform the way business people connect, engage and transact with customers, colleagues and partners.

As part of company’s social strategy, SAP has introduced two new applications, including the Jam social software platform and the Social OnDemand application.

The company claimed that by adding social and collaborative capabilities into on-premise and cloud applications or mobile devices will serve customers, partners, and streamline work processes and decision-making.

With SAP Jam, workers can integrate social capabilities into their applications and daily business processes, eliminating social silos.

In addition, the application claimed to create a unified environment in which users can connect with colleagues and collaborate around data, content and processes right where they are working.

The Jam platform combines the best parts of SuccessFactors Jam for enterprise social networking, the SAP StreamWork application for social workflow and problem-solving as well as new capabilities.

SAP Social OnDemand transforms social media conversations into rich business insights and also helps marketing, customer service organisations to increase brand loyalty, manage reputational risks and capitalise on opportunities.
