The International Cricket Council has unveiled a Match Centre which will be powered by SAP HANA and Analytics.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Match Centre will provide fast live scores and real time statistics and insights using live and historical ICC Cricket World Cup data. SAP HANA will be used to bring together 40 years of World Cup historical data for the first time.

A new video section will provide short-form highlights of each match and include the latest match clips from all the key match moments, which will be available within minutes of happening on the pitch.

Additionally, the website will feature previews, reviews, daily match reports, special features and regular columns from cricketers such as, Andy Bichel, Paul Collingwood, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Muttiah Muralitharan, Stephen Fleming, Sir Vivian Richards, Graeme Smith and more.

The official website will also feature other exclusive content such as ‘100 Greatest World Cup Moments’ and voting on greatest World Cup moment and picking a World Cup XI. A fantasy league is already available and will run through the tournament.

The official App which has been launched in partnership with Reliance Communications will offer many of the same features that the website does, including statistics and analysis, the app is currently the No.1 sports app in almost 20 countries.

As well as the digital activations, the ICC has announced tie-ups with social media platforms, Twitter, Google+, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channels, these will be used to announce innovations ahead of the first tournament match.
