SAP announces first solution resellers for Business ByDesign offering

Expansion of reach and scope of the software by selling and positioning the on-demand offering

SAP, a provider of business software, offering applications and services, has announced the first solution resellers for the SAP Business ByDesign offering, delivering on its strategy to create an ecosystem around the integrated on-demand suite for small and midsize enterprises (SMEs).

SAP Business ByDesign is a fully integrated business management offering that delivers the best of SAP software, on-demand, and it unifies multiple business operations and enables companies to implement preconfigured business processes in order to solve immediate problems.

The company said reselling partners expand the reach and scope of the software by selling and positioning the on-demand offering as well as deploying the services.

SAP plans to extend the solution reseller programme to further countries including the UK, China and India over the course of the coming months, with initial partners signed on in France, Germany and the US.

According to SAP, partners are crucial to the success of the on-demand solution, as they market, sell and deploy the offering as well as offer additional services, such as business consulting, business process services or management services, among others.

SAP Business ByDesign enables partners to implement their individual growth strategies, manage their companies flexibly and respond quickly to changing market conditions.

SAP Global SME Indirect Channel senior vice president Pat Hume said delivering on their value proposition and business model for SAP Business ByDesign solution resellers, the company is committed to empowering its partners with the opportunities and tools they need to ultimately ensure customer success.

"With SAP Business ByDesign and our partner-centric approach to delivering the solution, we are meeting customers three demands, which include faster time to value, ease of deployment and flexible purchasing options," Hume said.

To support solution resellers, SAP is providing an onboarding guide, organisational set-up support, an e-learning platform with role-based curricula, access to go-live-experience workshops and self-enablement systems, and a central knowledge repository on the SAP Business ByDesign Business Center site.

Some of new SAP Business ByDesign Solution resellers in France, Germany, and the US include ABAYOO Business Network, All for One Midmarket, Arxis Technology, Data One GmbH, ERP Logic, Navigator Business Solutions, SBP, Vision33, among others.
