The new integrated voice, data and security network gives IBMEC’s 2,700 students secure access to educational information anywhere on campus, meaning they can take their assignments from the lecture hall, to the library, to the grounds with nothing but their laptop.
The network is also designed to enhance administrative processes by granting its staff real-time access to student information.
The advanced communication capabilities of our new IBMEC São Paulo campus enhance our position as an educational center of excellence in Brazil. Nortel carefully assessed our needs and designed a secure, cost-effective infrastructure that ensures all of our voice, data, video and wireless communications are leading-edge with the embedded flexibility to easily evolve to meet changing demand, said Claudio Haddad, director of IBMEC Sao Paulo.
