Sanyo UK has signed up North of England cellular equipment dealer Martin Dawes Communications Ltd to distribute its facsimile range into the UK market for the first time: the SF 100 will be available for UKP1,695 – unlike British Telecom, which recently launched a bottom-end machine costing under UKP1,000 for the domestic user, Sanyo says it is concentrating on polishing its business image before going downmarket – and Martin Dawes is looking for 5% of the fax market and is trying to increase its presence in the South with that aim.
