SANYO ELECTRONICS HAS SOFM88B AND SOFM88A

Sanyo Electronics has a low-end B4-size optical disk document system and will put it out in two versions from September: consisting of keyword input device, optical disk drive, scanner and laser printer, the Model SOFM88B has B4 input and output and costs about $30,000, while the SOFM88A produces A4 output from B4 input and costs about $28,000; both use 5.25 optical disks that can store 15,000 pages of documents; year one target is 100 units.
