SANYO DENKO RELEASES RISC BASED EXPANSION BOARD FOR PC’S

Sanyo Denko Co, an automated machinery manufacturer in Nagoya has released a RISC processor-based expansion board to bring Unix to personal computers and workstations: it is designed to give workstation levels of performance on low-end machines and wil be sold at $12,900 applications such as desktop publishing, analogue signal analysis processing, and in networks of workstations and servers; no word on which RISC is being used in it.
