SanDisk has unveiled high-capacity Extreme Pro CompactFlash card that features 128 gigabytes (GB) of storage and up to 100 megabyte per second (MB/sec) write speeds.

The new CompactFlast card comes with Power Core controller and UDMA-7 interface, which enables the card to deliver the performance demanded by high-end DSLR cameras.

The company said that the new Extreme Pro CompactFlash card is suited for imaging applications requiring Full HD3 1920×1080 resolution, up to 50Mbps bit rate and 4:2:2 color sampling.

The card features: up to 100MB/sec write speed; video performance guarantee; 128GB capacity offers more room for capturing RAW+JPEG photos, sequential bursts, and full HD and 3D video content.

The company’s proprietary Power Core controller distributes data across the card, and the UDMA-7 interface allows for maximum data transfer between card and camera.

SanDisk product marketing director Susan Park said no other product on the market can match their new card’s combination of speed and storage capacity.
