The Sanders Associates Inc Nashua, New Hampshire unit of Lockheed Corp has launched a patent infringement complaint in the US District Court in Boston against Summagraphics Corp, Fairfield, Connecticut on behalf of its CalComp unit in Anaheim, California: the complaint relates to a 1980 patent on digitising systems, and charges Summagraphics with unauthorised manufacture, use and sale of infringing digitiser systems; it estimates Summagraphics has sold $20m of the devices believed to infringe the patent and wants injunctive relief against further sales, unspecified damages, and costs.
