SAMSUNG TO CUT CATHODE RAY TUBE PRODUCTION

Samsung Display Devices Co, which bills itself the world’s largest color cathode ray tube maker, is considering cutting production for use in monitors by 10% to 15% in response to a fall in global prices for display tubes, which declined by an average of $10 on last year.
