Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) and US Cellular have released Samsung Exec(SCH-i225), a slim smartphone equipped with a Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 platform.

 

The companies said that the new device allows users to access personal and corporate email through Microsoft Office OutlookActiveSync. The Exec also features other Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint Mobile and WordMobile. In addition, it also features HTML browser, Qwerty keyboard that includes one-touch access to new Widgets and social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Flicker.

 

The company said Samsung Exec has an array of messaging features including text and picture messaging and access to instant messaging through Windows LiveMessenger. The 4.61inches X 2.36inches X .45inches phone also features 2.0 megapixel camera with camcorder, bluetooth capabilities and a built-in music player and optional external memory up to 32GB.

 

According to Samsung Mobile, the SCH-i225 also features Microsoft Windows LiveMessenger; Windows MediaPlayer; Windows Marketplace; Adobe Reader LE 2.5, and personal tools such as calendar, alarms, anniversary reminder, tasks.
