Samsung Telecommunications America has launched two new devices Sunburst, a full touch screen phone with various widgets, and Strive, a vertical slider with a full Qwerty keyboard.
The Sunburst comes in a sleek, futuristic black and chrome design and a touchscreen that uses widgets to provide users with one-touch access to their favourite features, applications and social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. It features a 3-inch touchscreen and weighs 3.08 ounces.
According to Samsung, the Strive, following the lines of its Propel family of messaging devices, is available in two colour options, black/silver and purple/charcoal. It measures 4.2” x 2.3” x 0.57” and weighs around 3.99 ounces. Strive from AT&T offers three new mobile services that include a new group messaging service, AT&T mobile share and AT&T address book.
In addition, both the mobiles feature 2.0 megapixel camera/camcorder, SMS and MMS messaging video messaging and instant messaging, mobile E-mail, AT&T mobile music, AT&T navigator, and bluetooth v2.0+ EDR.
The Samsung Sunburst is expected to be available for $39.99 after a two-year agreement and mail-in-rebate, while the Strive will be available for $19.99, as part of AT&T’s current 50%-off quick messaging phones promotion.
