Samsung has expanded its 2010 lineup of professional mobile PC products with the launch of two new notebook lines, P80 Premium series and P30 Essential series, along with a new NB30 Pro netbook, which it claims to provide a range of connectivity, security, durability and design-based computing options for professionals in the office and while on the road.

According to Samsung, the P80 Premium series notebooks feature Intel Core i5 430M processor, Windows 7 Professional operating system and are available in two HD LED backlit screen sizes of 14-inch (P480) and 15-inch (P580) with a matte finish. The notebooks also feature a docking station connector that provides a ‘single click’ connection and access to an array of ports, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR connectivity option and 320GB hard drive.

In addition, P80 series also comes with memory up to 4GB DDR3, graphics use Intel GMA HD, HD Audio, 0.3MP web camera, wireless LAN 802.11bg/n, wired ethernet LAN of 10/100/1000 BaseTX, and trusted platform module (TPM) with 4 USB 2.0 ports. The P480 weighs around 4.8lbs and offers battery life of up to 4.3 hours, while P580 weighs around 5.6lbs and offers battery life of up to 4.4 hours.

The P30 Essential series notebooks feature Intel Core i3 330M processor, Windows 7 Professional operating system and are available in two HD LED backlit screen sizes of 14-inch (P430) and 15.6-inch (P530). The notebooks feature memory up to 4GB DDR3, hard drive of 250GB (max), Intel GMA HD graphics, 0.3MP web camera, wireless LAN 802.11bg/n, wired ethernet LAN 10/100, 3 USB 2.0 ports.

The P430 weighs around 4.9lbs and offers battery life of up to 4.5hrs, while P530 weighs around 5.5lbs and offers battery life of up to 4.6hrs.

The Samsung NB30 Pro netbook comes with Intel Atom N450 processor, Windows 7 Professional OS, 10.1-inch screen, Intel GMA3150 graphics, 2GB DDR2 memory, 0.3MP camera, wireless LAN 802.11bg/n, wired ethernet LAN: 10/100, 3 USB 2.0 ports, and 160GB (max) w/ free fall sensor. It weighs around 2.73lbs and offers battery life of up to 6.5hrs.

The P80 and P30 series are priced at MSRP of $999 and $849, respectively, while NB30 netbook is priced at MSRP of $519.
